    The 2nd gen IS platform isn't too bad, the upgrades they did to the 2011+ models eventually allowed it to lap VIR in a similar time of like-year M3 (caranddriver).
    I saw that comparison. It should be virtually impossible based on the specs for the RC-F to get anywhere near the M3/M4.

    It was heavier, doesn't have the same balance, has less power/torque, etc. It's pretty one-sided in every measurable aspect.

    Not to mention the IS-F beats the E92 M3 hands down.

    IS-F sounds good but it's not that fast.
    I raced and beat one over 800m with a stock turbo N55 135i on pump.
