    • Gintani builds the most powerful US W212 Mercedes-AMG E63 S 4Matic at 900 awhp (until the transmission breaks)

Remember Gintani's M157 turbo upgrade from a few years back? Well, the market for it was not what was expected because nobody has any transmission solutions. This car has blown the trans several times and will likely do so again but not until setting a new power record.

900.9 awhp on a Mutang dyno is absurd. That is well over 1000 crank horsepower. Only GAD Motors has made similar power although their dyno is measured at crank output. To really know who is making more power you need to get the cars on the same dyno.

For that reason let's just say this is the most powerful W212 E63 AMG S in the United States.

Gintani will turn the power down before returning it. Maybe one day the W212 M157 guys will have a reliable trans upgrade. Until then, this is just wasted potential.

Common guys I had 1180hp at crank 2 years ago, 10.0 at 143.5mph for 1/4 and 15.3 at 174mph for 1/2. The best proof of hp is the dragstrip/road, otherwise some might still be "Dyno queen".

i had my clutch upgraded tailor made in poland and I have 1380 Nm torque on my M157 without any issues in a RWD however CLS 2018

And I agree with the previous poster, if you cmpare yourself to GAD go drive against them at the Race1000 its three times every summer in Germany and Tuners from all over the world come there: http://www.race-1000.com/

Does the weistec or renntech trans upgrade not support the additional power upgrades?

Till this day, I still dont get the reasoning behind the dyno wars, Its very clear that as long as you dont $#@! with the parameters, either a Dynojet or a Mustang dyno read very close to each other! And would love to entertain the debate saying otherwise lol.

On the other hand, the 900 uncorrected mark is definitely to respect, not even room to argue otherwise because is a known fact, how powerful this cars can be with high levels of boost! Without a doubt it will be fast.

1180hp at the crank is not that far from the 900whp mark, I mean I remember ghost E63 trapping 144whp at the 1/4 mile before, with a bumped up dynojet 830whp that car got to trap that kind of speed... I wish I could say the same about the time, but on that setting we never got to make a good pass, great trap but not really anything to be proud of, bringing the juice down to 750hp gave us better results, sad to admitted but that 5th gear was never happy at the end of the track.

And some constructive criticisms... Numbers are cool, and yes is understandable and justified to try and hit a high dyno number just for the achievement.... if the opportunity comes around, sure why not???
But.... Want to make an impression, a graph along with the number for sure will do it, a number by itself, doesnt really change from being nothing more than just a number.

@Vasily1 it is appreciated that you run your cars hard and get data but not everyone is like you.

A tuner can't just take a customer car and go get numbers.

        RWD is a big difference.

Who in Poland did the work for you?

It seems to be hit or miss. Many guys claim the TCU side just isn't developed.

Weistec TCU modification is fake, I sent my TCU/Valvebody there back then before I had the full gearbox modified, Weistec did absolutely zero to the VB and charged the money...I was very disappointed but since then Weistec is not for me anymore.

        Proof of this?

what proof do you want? I am just telling you its what happened! I sent them my VB and got it back and when I had my gearbox re-inforced shortly after that, the guy who did it said my VB unit was 100% stock and untouched and for sure not modified. So i paid for a mod that never happened - beside the weeks of waiting.

and by all means no need to believe me, go burn your dollars on their $#@!ty products - be my guest, I did it before you lol

ahahaha - so just because I now reside in Cyprus I am fishy?

where are you from? and what does it matter?

Listen pal, I am from Germany, I have been building

and tuning my cars for as long as I remember

if you want to play the weistec fanboy - sure - go make a fool out of yourself.

        Meanwhile, this is my car:

I have had plenty of experience with the M157 basis in that 218 AND with the MCT gearbox particularly with Weistec's scammy Valvebody tuning product - why do you think they took it off the market again? http://weistec.com/all/mercedes-benz...nsmission.html

attached are two dyno runs with a year in between - I was pushing close to 1380 Nm of torque, how exactly do you think I achieved that without having the gearbox modified by a specialist, who actually took it apart and knew what he is doing ?Attachment 57604Attachment 57605?
