      Relax AMG fanboys, we know this is not a fair race. That is not the point. The point is to show the difference a tune makes on the BMW F90 M5. Well, the difference is huge. Keep in mind in stock form it is a driver's race between these two cars.


      With an ECU tune only on the F90 M5? It is a beatdown. Going to show that if you have an E63 S and you want to take down the new M5 you better have a tune yourself.

      Now how about a tuned F90 M5 vs. tuned W213 E63 S run?

        Should put the car comfortably into the 130's in the 1/4 mile. Maybe 134?

        How does the saying go... "its all in the tune". Not exactly accurate but to a degree. More power, more consistency.

        Small road circuit in Canada call Kayuga.
        The M5 performed amazing. The actual 1/4 mile event was at 7 pm. And I did not want to wait for that, as I was there around lunch time.
        But on the track I was untouched. Had a blast.

        There is an M5 at an event in Germany running JB4 map3 on higher octane that ran 10.8@134mph....

        He was running the equivalent of 96 octane @25psi/map3.
