    • Pure Turbos upgraded W213 Mercedes-AMG E63 S vs. bolt on Nissan GT-R

Yes, Pure Turbos and DME tuning already have the new W213 Mercedes-AMG E63 S running upgraded turbochargers on its M177 4.0 liter twin turbo V8. The turbos are helping the motor product a healthy 761 horsepower at all four wheels.

That gives you perspective on this run with a bolt on Nissan GT-R which is always a great benchmark. Bolt on GT-R's can range quite a bit but this one is at an event ready to race so it likely means business.

The E63 is still able to take it relatively easily. It get a big lead off the line and the GT-R appears to maybe slightly close the gap up top. Either way, the E63 takes this one.

Watch the video all the way through for an exterior camera angle.

I'm thinking that GTR wasn't on stock turbos.

        What makes you think that?

Plenty of proof that stock turbo GTRs can do 9 sec 1/4 miles.

I would imagine this e63 could pull off 9's as well, any videos of that?
