    • Weistec Engineering's updated M156 Stage III 3.0 liter twin screw supercharger produces another 40 whp

As you likely know Weistec's twin screw Mercedes-AMG M156 and M159 supercharger kits are centered around Whipple twin screw hardware. Whipple recently updated their 2.9/3.0 twin screw supercharger to a new third generation design.

What kind of dividends does the new design pay? Well, fortunately Benzboost member @MR747 tested it out on his stock internal C63 M156.

The result is another 40 wheel horsepower on a very, very, VERY conservative Dyno Dynamics dynamometer in Shoot_8F mode:

You see gains throughout the entire curve. A very nice increase in efficiency.

This is on the same 67mm pulley as before and 98 RON pump fuel.

What will it do with more boost on race gas? Well, we'll have to wait on @MR747 to find out.

I will be using Aeromotive pumps increase im not sure but fuel system is what was limiting me before with 60mm and race gas with old blower when it went 9.95 it will be interesting to see how it goes once retuned

What's up with that torque dip past 5000? Knock or are you moving the cams?

This is a back to back comparison same tune as previous blower with 67mm pulley

On the new blower we fuel pressure dropped to 3.7 bar at 5000rpm picked up to 4.1 bar at 6500rpm

It should be 6 bar we basically stopped and now upgrading some fuel bits and pieces

There is more power in this current tune but we couldn't give it 100%

I'll be back in a week or so and we will push it
