    • Mercedes-AMG squeezes in an AMG GT S Roadster for the 2019 model year

Mercedes-AMG originally launches the roadster version of the AMG GT with a GT and GT C model. That obviously left space for an 'S' version and now Mercedes-AMG officially revealed the 2019 AMG GT S Roadster.

The S M178 V8 gets more power (but uses the same turbos as the standard GT) with 515 horses. The GT C stands at the top with 550 horsepower courtesy of new turbos and tuning.

The S gets a ride control suspension with adaptive damping. It also gets a performance exhaust and upgraded brakes.

Pricing has yet to be announced.

These models need some more differentiation. For my money I would just modify a base car or S and ignore the C / R assuming it's a street car.
