    • AMR Performance is getting over 700 all wheel horsepower out of the 2018 W213 Mercedes-AMG E63 S

As you recall AMR Performance posted a very impressive 1/4 mile time with their Stage 1 ECU tuned W213 generation Mercedes-AMG E63 S. The tuned 4.0 liter M177 powered the E63 S to a 10.579 at 132.48 miles per hour 1/4 mile sprint.

So how much power did it take to get there? According to the above dyno plot, about 708 horsepower at the wheels.

Now keep in mind it is a bit difficult to compare this plot to other plots due to AMR Performance using a Dyno Dynamics. However, what you can see is the before and after and they are picking up 145 horsepower at the wheels with just a tune.

      The W213 E63 is a monster.

Well, due to the trap speed it should have ca.620-630awhp. similar cars with 700awhp should trap at ~140mph

I agree. It's likely due to the dyno differences.

The point really being it's ~150 horses up over stock.

        Crank readings perhaps.
