    • DME Tuning and Pure Turbos already upgraded the 2018 W213 Mercedes-AMG E63 M177 V8 - 761 awhp

Enjoy it while it lasts guys because this is the peak of the internal combustion engine. The new 2018 E63 AMG barely hit the streets and already guys are closing in on 800 horsepower at all four wheels.

This W213 E63 S has the Pure Turbos Stage 1 M177 turbo upgrade along with aftermarket downpipes.

DME Tuning tackled the tune on the Precision Dynojet and the result is 761 horsepower at all four wheels along with 748 lb-ft of torque at the wheels:

Compare those numbers to a stock E63 S and one with a tune. We are talking roughly 200 more horsepower at the wheels over stock and 135 more than a tuned example.

      Anyone still missing the M157?

What type of pump gas? 93, 98, 104...? I know, some people called 104 unleaded race gas, pump!

Mods on vehicle: Turbo upgrade, Downpipes (uncatted?), ECU tune, and that's it?

It should be close to a 9 if not in the 9's right?

On the previous model E63 S 4-MATIC (W212 / M157 / 5.5L TT), the engine has to be dropped to install any kind of a turbo upgrade, or downpipes. Does the same scenario apply to the newer E63 S (W213 / M177 / 4L TT)?

I do not believe so. I haven't heard anything otherwise.

Not sure how dropping the engine would help you access turbos that are right there, on top, in the vee. Can't imagine it's even that hard to do, these hot-vee engines make turbo upgrades nice and easy.
