    • Fabspeed enters deal with Milltek Sport to carry their full line of Audi and Mercedes exhausts

You already know or should know the names Fabspeed and Milltek. Fabspeed of course being a domestic vendor that produces exhaust components for the world's best sports cars and exotics that are quality pieces which do not force you to break the bank.

Fabspeed practically eliminated the Ferrari tax that was known throughout the industry. Now, Fabspeed expanded considerably since the early days over two decades ago and carries exhaust systems for most major exotic/performance brands today.

The deal with Milltek effectively plugs a hole in Fabspeed offering Mercedes and Audi pieces. Rather than enter into a development cycle for Audi and Mercedes models Milltek and Fabspeed saw the logic in working together. That also brings you these components quickly.

Milltek was founded back in 1983 with headquarters in the UK and testing facilities near the Nurburgring in Germany. They are well known in the German auto sphere and well established.

What about their quality and testing procedures you say? Milltek posses over 35 years of experience in the German market. They test on the Nurburgring and meet TUV certification. What is TUV certification? A TUV certification means a sampling of the product has been tested for safety and found to meet the minimum requirements of the German Equipment and Product Safety Act. This is not easy to do and requires OEM or better level quality. It is a stringent process designed to weed out unsafe products as well as those with subpar quality.

While the products meet German standards and are tested on the Nurburgring just how the OEM's do it Milltek insists on producing the products in the UK. If you are looking for cheap Chinese made components, look elsewhere. Quality testing, quality materials, and yes, TUV certification as well. This also means Milltek exhausts are suitable for a global market having met and exceeding the toughest testing available.

This is an example of Milltek's materials, aerospace quality 304 grade stainless steel:

Yes, that is a lot of material and Milltek is able to work on multiple products at once often having two to three or more product releases at the same time. Not to mention Milltek literally has over a few million dollars worth of materials and product on the shelves.

The current Milltek product offering from Fabspeed is below. Expect more Milltek exhaust pieces to join them.
