    • Heads/Cam Gen V Viper vs. Pure Turbos Stage 2 Mercedes-AMG GT S roll races

Our favorite Viper back in action. As a reminder, this is a Gen V Dodge Viper with upgraded heads and an aftermarket camshaft. It is making roughly 650 horsepower to the rear wheels plus the ever important driver mod.

As the AMG GT S is not manual but dual clutch the driver is not as large of a factor. The GT S is heavier by roughly 400 pounds but it does have a twin turbocharger M178 V8. That V8 is upgraded with Pure Turbos Stage 2 or Pure900 M178 turbochargers and DME tuning software for them.

The result? From a 50 roll, neck and neck. Just a beautiful race. The 60 roll seemingly had the Viper more aware and it wins.

      Two quick and impressive cars.

That man is legend. It's good to see someone out there willing to race any and all competition which provides great comparisons for us.
