    • C218 CLS63 AMG M157 with TTH-M157-850 turbochargers making 850 horsepower

Another solid result for TTH's M157 hybrid turbochargers. TTH of course standard for Turbo Technik Hamburg and they have posted some good AMG tuning numbers. This C218 generation CLS63 is making around 850 horsepower.

Simon Motorsport tuned it and tested the car on their MAHA dyno:

857.9 PS is roughly 845 horsepower. The wheel output reading is 552 but the MAHA is notoriously conservative in that area. If this dyno says 857.9 PS, you can believe it.

That makes for a strong M157 and certainly a solid hybrid turbo upgrade. It is no secret though that M177 and M178 tuning now dominates the AMG tuning game and it is unlikely there will be any major M157 developments going forward.

I'd need to see this on another dyno or two before agreeing that 550whp there is actually 850 crank hp

Just check out more MAHA runs.

Also 850 is common on the M157 with hybrids.

M157 platform issue is not making power, but putting that power alllll down on the road efficiently... Trans tunes are needed to remove those tq limiters, and then more and more im reading, its the between shift issues that are problematic in the M157 world, having timing drops, boost recovery issues etc. Maybe more Blow off valves systems are needed on these motors to remove the excess boost more quickly.
