    • Mercedes-Benz ends the Smart Car brand in the USA - Anyone notice?

Smart cars are prevalent in Europe and especially in small cities with tight roads. For those who need more space or safety than a scooter the Smart car fills a role. It just does make much sense for the USA and Mercedes-Benz acknowledged this by ending the brand in the USA.

The cost of homologation plus slow sales killed Smart. The problem is that unlike MINI which offers fun to drive and useful compact cars Smart cars are ugly, boring, and offer little utility.

Is anyone going to miss these things?
