    • AMS readying Mercedes-AMG M133 (45 AMG) Garrett GTX30 based turbo upgrade and Alpha upgraded HPHP (high pressure fuel pump)

AMS is bringing some new M133 products to market that they have tested on their in-house CLA45 AMG. That CLA45 AMG still holds the M133 overall 1/4 mile record as AMS ran a 10.72 @ 129.08 well over a year ago.

      Impressive, right?

Those two unreleased components that helped them run that time are soon (and finally!) coming to market.

The first of which is a Garrett GTX30 based M133 turbo upgrade:

What is the cost? What kind of power will it support? For those answers we will have to wait for the official launch.

The second item and a pretty big deal is an Alpha M133 fuel pump. This will allow the direct injection fuel system to supply enough fuel for the big turbo:

How much power does the new pump support? What does it cost? Again, for these answers we will need to wait for the official release.

What we do know is the pump flows enough for the car to set records on 93 octane pump fuel and provides fuel until 7200 rpm.

M133 enthusiasts have some great upgrades to look forward to.
