    • BMS JB4 with prototype M177 intake gets 577 rwhp out of a W205 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG

As you know BMS is testing their JB4 piggyback on the W205 M177 engine platform. They are also developing an intake system for the W205 Mercedes-AMG C63 M177 V8 and the results this far are very promising.

With the JB4 set to Map 7 and the prototype intake on a 98 octane blend they hit 577 rear wheel horsepower and 658 lb-ft of rear wheel torque:

Fantastic peak number but keep in mind this is still preliminary testing.

Regardless, the BMS JB4 and M177 intake are a potent combo that simply cannot be beaten in horsepower per dollar.

Thank you for the post! Let me help with you with some higher res photos and details.

With the Jb4 Terry put down 537 whp and was basically limited. BMS intake prototype allowed him to make the extra hp to 561whp.

The extra BCM got it to 577whp, I believe it is out of fuel at the moment. With more development and a methanol kit we predict 600's is possible.

        Great supplemental details, thank you.

        How much for the intake?

I'm not too sure yet, it's still TBD. It will be at least half the price of everyone else with just as good quality, that's for sure LOL!
