    • Gintani Stage X supercharged E92 M3 vs. Mercedes-AMG GT roll race

Gintani's Stage X supercharger system is a very potent way to upgrade the E92 M3 S65 V8. We are talking roughly 700 rear wheel horsepower on E85 fuel with a higher boost pulley and more aggressive tuning. It makes for a very strong top end setup.

The AMG GT is no slouch with its twin turbo M178 V8 but in stock form it is hardly showing what it is capable of. The GT is tuned compared to the GT S and leaving a lot of power on the table.

That said... this isn't even a race. It is incredible how quickly the M3 leaves the AMG GT in the dust.

It would probably take an 850 whp N54.

It's a moot point, no way of knowing unless he raced one. The n54 is pretty potent from a roll, I'd be hard pressed to agree with you. Maybe with a shift bogging 6mt youd need some extra power but I doubt that much. I raced a supercharged m3 with more horsepower than my car and he couldn't keep pace in 3rd/4th gear. Torque is a beautiful thing.

Every N54 I ever raced had more torque. They all lost. Horsepower wins.

Sounds good please meet me tomorrow afternoon, I'll be waiting on highway 97 just north of Kelowna in British Columbia. Should I bring sandwiches for us? I'll have my girlfriend prepare a picnic basket just in case we get hungry after our racing.

As the car will be at SEMA why don't we meet there and race on the strip. We can do the 1/4 and I will give you a 2 or 3 second head start. Click here to enlarge

I only race around tracks that have corners, so... pretty sure youd be in trouble with that car.
