    I've never heard of Sauced but the only really solid places I know of are in Camarillo so far away. if you are hankering for BBQ though Woodranch restaurants will satisfy but they are a BBQ chain so not exactly the world's best but certainly satisfying. Honestly, you're too far north for good bbq.Sauced is probably your best bet.

    It seems Porsche is trying to replicate their success with the 991.2 Carrera T on the 718 range. The only downside is that Porsche is not pairing the T model with the 9A2B4 2.5 but instead the 9A2B4 2.0 liter motor. That does make the T models affordable as they are 5-10% cheaper than similarly equipped models. Essentially, Porsche is giving you some options for a package deal. You get the PASM sport chassis, 20 inch wheels, Sport Chrono, and the GT sport steering wheel. Fabric door pulls and a PCM delete are there to lose weight but it's a wash with the addition of a gasoline particulate filter (GPF). Is there anything special you can not get in another 718 model? Yes, the PADM system. These are dynamic transmission mounts designed to reduce vibration. Here are the models at a glance: Compared to the 911 T which strips out quite a bit of weight and adds a limited slip differential creating arguably the best driver's 911 for the money in the lineup the 718 T models feel like a letdown.

    More S55 platform cars are creeping into the 8XX wheel horsepower range. This is a built motor F80 M3 meaning forged S55 engine internals. Tuning was done by Paul Johnson known online as @F80Paul. The power and torque are impressive but why is the RPM cut off? The graph should be presented professionally and in its entirety: Mod list: E85 tune through BM3 Pure Turbos Stage 2+ Fuel-It! Stage 4 Port Injection CSF cooling Built S55 Details such as the boost pressure and who did the engine build with what internals (what compression pistons? whose rods?) are not included. We are definitely going to be seeing more 8XX whp S55's going into 2019.

    The second generation Acura NSX is a sales flop but perhaps tuners can make it a bit more exciting. With a 3.5 liter twin turbo V6 plus three electric motors this thing should be a rocket. Well, it isn't. It is kind of sad how slow this car is even when tuned. The tuner did not provide a graph so who knows what they are getting out of it but considering stock NSX's hit 125 miles per hour what are they getting out of it? 20 whp? Going from 125 to 127 with a twin turbo 3.5 liter V6 is a joke. Not to mention, a stock 991.2 Turbo S will have its way with the NSX and it does not need any electric motors assisting to smoke it. There is no point even bringing up how badly a tuned 911 Turbo would beat it. Hell, a tuned BMW M3 with its smaller I6 can make easy work of the NSX at a fraction of the cost. Acura decided to make the new NSX a heavy all wheel drive hybrid so you would think it would at least impress in a straight line. It doesn't.

    Here is a great modification from Unitronic which increases 2.5 TFSI efficiency. The Unitronic 2.5 TFSI EVO 3-inch turbo inlet elbow will provide gains of 18 horsepower and 8 lb-ft of torque while improving airflow by 12%. Essentially you are removing a restriction in the intake tract. This is a direct bolt on modification for the stock Borg Warner 2.5 TFSI turbocharger.     It truly is incredible what tuners extract from the Evo platform. This Mitsubishi Evo 9 was built by AG Autosports and tuned by Crispeed Tuned. It is making power that will make the majority of guys on this network envious. 698 horsepower to all four wheels: The motor is built of course to handle the 32-38 psi of boost but the mod list is not too crazy: Ashanti's Mitsubishi EVO 9 project producing 698whp/545ftlbs. AG Autosports Spec 2.0 long block. Forced Performance Turbochargers FP Black at 38-32psi. GSC Power-Division Billet S2's. Injector Dynamics ID 2000cc. Walbro Fuel Pumps single 450 Haltech Elite 2k Evo 9 pnp kit with provisions for ethanol content aka flex fuel + oil & fuel pressure sensors for engine protection strategies.     Sport Auto is a German publication and a funny thing happens when German publications include a Porsche against world rivals. The Porsche tends to win. Which is interesting because their comparison test includes the Ferrari 488 Pista which is destroying everything in its path. All of a sudden when the 488 Pista is in the hands of Sport Auto it can not top the 991.2 GT3 RS but the French Magazine Motorsport has the Pista annihilating the GT2 RS let alone the much less powerful GT3 RS. So what is the truth? Who knows. The Sport Auto test also has the Lamborghini Urus topping the BMW F87 M2 Competition but if you look at the track it is quite damp. It is also pretty tight with laptimes under a minute for certain cars. Is this really the best test of the vehicles track capabilities?     As you likely already know EcuTek is the new software solution in the BMW tuning world. They started their rollout with N55 support and various tuners are starting to use the software. This F22 M235i is running the Stage 1 EcuTek software. Keep in mind this is an OTS base file so there is plenty more for a talented tuner to extract. This is a well tuned Stage 1 file though that is maintaining a smooth power with torque gains throughout: MAHA dynos are conservative in their readings especially in the wheel output field. They get it up to 384 horsepower at the crank with the software only for a nice increase over stock. EcuTek will be tackling the F80 M3 and F82 M4 S55 motor next.

    BMW M cars truly have come a long way as far as power being easily extracted with minor tuning. There was a time where a bolt on BMW M3 topping a modified Corvette was unheard of. Well, the tables sure have flipped. It is the base Corvette now that needs serious mods to hang with a mildly tuned M3. This one has modified heads, an aftermarket intake, cat delete, and ethanol tune. The F80 M3 is running a JB4, downpipes, and meth. The Corvette does well but the M3 is simply too much for it. Time for a blower?

    Let's not pretend the turbo engine era is about saving the planet and lowering emissions. The cars are getting so big and heavy that to improve performance they had to go to turbos. How else are you going to move an E-Class cabriolet that weighs as much as an E63 wagon? Seriously, the E43 cabriolet weighs 4602 pounds. That is roughly the same weight as an E63 AMG wagon. To put in other terms, it is 500 pounds heavier than the old and already heavy CLK63 AMG V8. To make matters worse, 54% of the weight is on the nose. Is Mercedes-AMG doing an Audi impression? No wonder it needs a turbo M256 3.0 I6 with electric assist to move it. Output is 429 horsepower with 384 lb-ft of torque. An electric motor provides 21 of those horses and 184 lb-ft of torque. Even with all that power and torque it only manages a 12.8 @ 107.5 in the 1/4 mile. That might sound decent but take into account the old 2007 CLK63 AMG would do low 12's at 117 miles per hour. That was done without turbos by the way. How is this progress when a naturally aspirated and lighter Mercedes CLK from over a decade ago crushes it in performance? Not to mention AMG has no real AMG model variant for the E-Class coupe despite them pretending the E53 is one. The M256 I6 is not an AMG motor folks. Maybe you're thinking the car is a value at least? Nope. The as tested price is over $100k with the starting price at over $80k. Sorry Mercedes. Not only does this car not deserve an AMG badge it's fat, overpriced, and it underforms.
