    That’s probably fair but I want Tannehill dammit Honestly better to just not touch his team anymore IMO... even with CMC it’s not a competitive team, and picking up players with no strategy as to when/if they’re released again is just screwing up everyone else. I mean, in a normal situation he prob would’ve dropped Tannehill and picked up a TE on waivers. It’s just a no win situation I guess

    This is really what we wanted to see out of the RS5 out of the box. Speaking of which, adding the JB4 tuning box to the equation gets the B9 generation Audi RS5 performing much more like AudiBoost expected it to. Low 11's with just basic bolt ons: Just a JB4 on Map 5 with aftermarket downpipes and an intake.

    Well, here it finally is! Apologies to our readers for taking so long but setting up such a test is not easy. The blessing in disguise is that a new option made the comparison and that option is made out of inconel and it is an engineering collaboration between Mimo Technik and SPW (Specialty Precision Welding). As you previously saw BoostAddict.com purchased the three most popular header options on the market for the 2017-2019 Porsche 991.2 3.0 Carrera models. You can make it four now. The idea was to compare the headers on the dyno but a flow bench was utilized instead. Why? Because the gains will vary on the dyno based on what modifications a car has as well as weather and cooldown time. A car like mine with upgraded turbos, methanol, inlets, intercoolers, etc., is going to move much more air than one with a tune running headers. Here we have repeatable, consistent results minimizing variables showing what the manifolds can flow. Fabspeed headers were not included in the test. Why? Because they are currently on the PorscheBoost 991.2 Project Car as Gintani felt they were the design they wanted to tune around. So you will get dyno numbers too but just for the Fabspeed option showing a before and after. Here are some important aspects to note: 1. All headers show a large improvement over stock. This is why Porsche changed the manifold design on the 992 from the 991.2. 2. Kline also makes an inconel header so if you want their lighter option, you can buy it. 3. The competitors are not named. 4. All headers purchased for this test are available for sale and basically brand new. PM @Sticky or e-mail admin@boostaddict.com to purchase at a discount. Why waste money? Flow numbers: Manifold weight: What we will say is Brand A offers the best combination of value, weight, and performance. The stock design truly is heavy and inefficient. Everyone tremendously improved on it and if you are tuning your car but still relying on the factory header design, why? The Mimo Technik and SPW header collaboration is the lightest and best performing. Yes, it is the most expensive but it is cheaper than Kline's inconel option.     TTE (The Turbo Engineers) are known for solid hybrid upgrades that are reliable. Their products work as evidenced by their BMW F82 M4 running their TTE740+ S55 hybrid turbo upgrade with oversized inlets. The car is making 714 horsepower at the crank on a MAHA dyno on pump fuel. That pump gas is 99 RON which works out to about 94 octane. Yes, that is pump fuel in many places in Europe. The car also has a meth kit but this is repeatable daily performance: Very solid numbers.     Finally! Remember when Dinan was acquired by Performance Driven Brands back in early 2018? Then remember when Performance Driven Brands was restructured by Sentinel Capital Partners? Well both Dinan and APR now work under the same halo and even out of the same facility in Opelika, Alabama. The relationship with APR is rubbing off well. Why? Because Dinan is now flash tuning again and offering a warranty. You know, like the early days? Remember when BimmerBoost called out Steve Dinan for hypocrisy? And when Steve Dinan responded? The BimmerBoost reasoning being that Dinan went from criticizing piggybacks to suddenly embracing them. The truth is Dinan just could not flash tune modern BMW's and it was a money grab. He sold the company shortly after and Steve Dinan is not at the helm today. Dinan created the Dinantronics piggyback box which, well, BimmerBoost was not a fan of. It was overpriced and underperformed. While Dinantronics still exists on certain engine platforms but by trading in your Dinantronics box you can get credit towards real flash tuning from Dinan. The APR relationship is really playing a key role as APR is helping with diagnostics, dealers, development, you name it. You do not have to worry about Dinan disappearing but only getting better and better going forward with massive engineering resources. The Dinan warranty is back as well. You will see Dinan focusing on products that are emissions compliant including tunes, intakes, suspension, etc. Do not expect to see things like catless downpipes but do expect CARB and EPA compliance. Dinan is finally back to being relevant in the BMW tuning scene and you will see a follow up thread on their S55 offering (with E85 capability) shortly.

    Where did this come from? Ferrari seemingly pulled a new GT car out of nowhere. This is a vehicle that shares the California T wheelbase and an F154 twin turbo V8 variant so apparently the idea was to make a GT 2+2 coupe version of the California T or Portofino platform. It is lighter than the hardtop convertible models. The dry weight is stated to be 3254 pounds. Does that mean we are looking at a 34XX pound Ferrari? If so, it will be around Porsche 992 weight. With a fairly light 2+2 configuration, 612 horsepower, 560 lb-ft of torque, and a new 8-speed dual clutch transmission shared with the SF90 supercar this could be the best performer for the money in its segment. It might be uncomfortably close to the 812 Superfast. What will it cost? Nobody yet knows. Let's hope the pricing is aggressive.
