No need to apologize, if it is valid info we welcome it as it ultimately benefits the users which is what it is all about.

Thank you for being aware though Click here to enlarge

That gentleman is an unnecessarily large number of cut and welds. Each side of that X would be 2-3 pieces tops with a mandrel bender.

Others have been down this road before (GT Pro, PLM, etc) using stock manifolds and merely deleting the cats. Superlubricity had a nice write up about it documenting before/after dyno and track testing. He actually lost or didn't gain power/torque on the dyno but picked up 1.5mph (IIRC) in trap.

Thus these are not to be mistaken for actual headers as far as gains vs stock because the OEM manifolds are reused (with smaller than a 1 7/8" ID at the collector) and there is no real collector.

    Mort thanks for the links

barfly thanks for that info...ive been trying find info on a deleting the Secondary cats. Seeing what kind of power is gained.

I want more power but dont want something too loud. Also would love MHP LT's but worried about the sound, so thought maybe get those and keep secondary cats and resonator and use their silencer.

Im in no rush just looking at options.
