We are going to actually prepare the car for the mile in October we are making a few changes that should get the top speed up a bit.

nice mph, the trick to the mile is getting as much speed as you can in the first half, if you can muster a better launch (at least than what i saw in the video) you can pick up a lot more at the end, aerodynamics aside, even without the few tweaks you plan to make. i look forward to your next time at the mile, for 508whp and a car as heavy as the cls is, you did well.

We had heat soak issues at 130mph we really didn't plan for the event, we just ran it for $#@!s and giggles, all this will be solved by October and it should be making a bunch more power too.

Nitrous could help you combat the heat soak...

We actually toyed with that idea. We are going to do a 5 gallon rear tank for now and see how that works.

I would love to see what the killer chiller would do in a situation like this. Datalogs show crazy things at high speeds lol.

Throttles car pulls like mad...just as much fun as the m5 we ran at the mile (minus the bad @ss M5 launch control that is)

    na man, flame free zone!

Tape is for aerodynamics. It suppossedly helps with mph, but in all honesty it helps more with not losing stuff!

There is always a car or two that has things fly off......like a sunroof or hood lol!

On brooks car last time we were there, we lost the bellypan, and it was definatley secured down properly prior to the run. Extreme high mph/wind does some funny things with body panels/lost parts!

I figured that's what it was for, thanks. I can't imagine a sunroof flying off, that must be crazy! It's not like you could pull over and pick it up. lol

ya, its uh interesting. Its scary as it seems like there is always a car flip when we are there!
(galardo last year and vette this)

If you look at the m5 video when I was driving, you can hear all the tape going crazy at the end as it was starting to flap around!

    Update

Still no dyno numbers, we are going over a few things we ran into misfire issues shortly after the 190mm pulley install here are some pics of the completed trunk tank and sprayer install.
