93 octane, no ice, 1:1, SAE CF, DJ 248.

Car was baselined but had bad IC pump and laid down 369rwhp/445rwtq SAE. Next graph will be with a pulley as the only addition.

Ya, that baseline sounds a bit low.

Still, about 450 whp tune only is strong, very strong.

The IC pump probably sucked 35-40whp and tq out of it so posting the before/after comparison (especially due to the speed limiter kicking in at ~5400rpm in 4th gear stock) would've just caused confusion.

No doubt, just good for that to be mentioned.

Every mod will have a dyno to correspond with it, next is a 175mm pulley kit and air filters, then 80mm TB, etc. Will have numbers from a friends 2006 CLS55 next week as well. I think his car is 15-20whp stronger than mine from the factory, bastard.

Here are my baseline pulls with bad IC pump, as you can see AFs took a dive for the 9s around 5000rpm.

I hate to say it but I agree with you, I think Steve's CLS is actually stronger, if only by a bit. Take solace in the fact you're 300lbs lighter Click here to enlarge

The CL55 is supposed to be a little stronger stock for stock, due to the throttle body I believe, right?

Yes but he has a CLS. I think they were rated a bit higher than the Es but not by much. Most seem to dyno on par with E's. We'll see what numbers his puts out post pulley and tune to compare. He's getting the same pulley kit and software Barfly has.

Very cool. I like the fact that you are methodically modding and dyno'ing between mods. This is the true purpose of a dyno, absolute numbers dont mean $#@!; deltas more important.

P.S. AF going nuts toward redline, rich as $#@!, you can pick up like 30 hp leaning out. I am sure you know that.

Gotcha, the E is quicker anyway due to the weight. I wouldn't worry about it.

Hey, not sure if you meant pre or post tuning. The bas IC pump was responsible for the horrid pre tune AFs. Post tune, this file has pulley, 80mm tb, no cats taken into account and will lean out to mid 11s. Which is a safe AF for a pd blower. Extra fuel up top helps combat excessive cylinder temps.

Sorry guys the pulley is 178mm not 175mm, measured it 2 days ago but forgot to correct it.

Forrest, 80mm TB is the next mod and after the cams go in we will focus on the exhaust.

    Thanks!

Why 80 instead of 82 Andy? Just curious. Also, nice numbers!
