well, by the end of this week i want to have ordered/purchased koni yellows-shock/struts, new 17" lightweight wheels w/ nitto 555r on the rear (or front set of kosei k1's have them for the rear already with DR's), cool carbon pads F/R, ss brake lines, braille 21# battery..

should drop about 50 lbs total, 25 rotational, plus whatever the koni shocks drop/if any..

So it doesnt stop, i figure until fuel solution is found, we can work on lightening and improving a few area's Click here to enlarge

I was thinking the same thing, I'd love to get a 944 turbo or turbo S as a project car to play with.

Good stuff, no point going overboard with lightening it though. It's a street car, more power is the solution, really fueling.

Hey the gauges on your 335 lit up in white, did you do that? Don't they light up in red?

i was a test guy for a kid in NY that did it. this was years ago, not sure who and how to do it now. he replaced the lights with white, and colored the needles red, but they came out bad, so i bought actual M3 needles

Wow, that sucks. I was just asking because I knew it was changed. I have an M3 cluster that was set up for my inline-6, looks way better and it's easier to read when you're traveling fast.

Was this hard to do? How much did it cost you? I'm kinda bored of the orange cluster.

i hated the orange cluster, i cant stand it. it looks cheap to me. I wish bmws were more colorful, like VW or MB guages, The M is ok, i dont understand their love of red though

Not the physical part of the job, that would take 5 -20 minutes, depending if you have a 3-series or a 1-series. The coding is where it's difficult.
