I bet we see twin turbo kits before we see a aftermarket blower.

I find the lack of a KB option or bigger blower option very odd.

UGR might tackle it but not really any money in it. Also, it isn't as simple as a mid engine setup as there is far less room to work with. I'm sure they are capable, just not going to happen.

I agree but i cant imagine its much harder than their viper systems. The lack of a KB option baffles me too.

Viper market has more demand for it plus the engine bay actually is pretty long. I would like to see it on the 55's, really would.

The motor is begging for a KB.

here notice the two bulges http://www.bimmerboost.com/images/im...DSC01827-1.jpg

Single screw superchargers exist. they have one prop in them. All 03-04 cobras have twin screws stock. and all 1998-2004 lightings do aswell
I believe they are a modified helix roots, not a true twin screw.

We definitively have the ability to make it happen, but it is a matter of finding someone that can fund the project, and leave the car with us for a few months. We have a part time mechanical engineer in-house, and plenty of 3D modeling and flow analysis software to boot.

There are a ton of owners of MB platforms that share this engine that are patiently waiting for blower and intercooler upgrades.

it can be done....we have swapped the sc on a 32 engine and added turbos. Its a lot of coding and ecu work, but we were able to accomplish it using the factory ecu without a standalone....

What are the details on this? You added turbos to a 32 motor and it was done successfully?

^ I love seeing all this but since it is a company account I am going to have to put it into a limited guest vendor user group to be fair. I hate to do that since you are posting great information but I have to enforce the rules fairly across the board.

not a problem whatsoever! Completely understandable, I had just posted as you asked for more info. We don't do any custom fab anymore as it is from the move from chi to tx.
