    Xtra c63 M156 supercharger dyno



    They are popping up left and right. Now we just need to see actual results!! Pretty excited though to see how far you can take this platform.

    Oh yeah, I have read about the Weistec kit as well. Exciting stuff. I think whp was ~570 with this brands unit, but tough to tell

    The hardware has been done by 5 different companies to this point, now the part we're all waiting for, driveline components to start flying and at what point. That's the real test/bridge that hasn't been crossed yet.

    Looks like HP/TQ scaling was different on the graph, I couldn't make numbers out either but we also need to see if it was corrected and if so what CF was used. Also I believe this was PS or metric HP, and what DT loss % was used?

    Kleemann and Brabus abandoned their project right? MKB I do not know the status of.

    Wesitec and Xtra are two that are confirmed.

    Gintani and ESS I won't get into, but I think we definitely can count the companies on one hand for now.

    MKB's is permanently backburnered due to the driveline issues brought up in another thread. All Kleemann's FI aspirations (TT and PD blower) are over and done. Brabus is still doing their TT M156s in ML and GLs but the HP and torque numbers are severely watered down (again due to driveline and I don't think anyone can argue Brabus has both the skill and the funding for legitimate R&D). You can google the output I can't recall exactly off hand and don't want to misquote. Brabus also paid a large chunk of change to Bosch for some custom ECUs to make that project work to their standards as well.

    I agree. Anyone that thinks I don't want these motors to be boosted has me all wrong. I would love to see a legit conventionally mounted TT kit for a C63, more than anything really because that's what it was originally designed to be, just not the initial variation. With twins and DI it would have been without question one of the baddest production powerplants in the history of the automobile.

    I wish we had the same support that BMW and Audi have in the MB/AMG world as far as aftermarket drivelines but it simply does not exist.
