    It was a great episode.
The Yeti beating a Ferrari 308GT on the Donnington circuit Click here to enlarge And landing a helicopter on it as well.
And a new all time record in the reasonably priced car
The Atom was absolutely amazing. What a crazy car! Oh, and the first performance of the new Stig.
If you missed this episode, find it somewhere and watch!

Next sunday episode 2 of this series:

Sunday, 20:00 (GMT) on BBC Two (except Northern Ireland (Analogue), Wales (Analogue))
    Synopsis

Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May go head-to-head against their opposite numbers from Australian Top Gear in a car-based version of The Ashes. With disciplines including rallying, drifting and an Aussie version of double-decker car racing it's an all-out grudge match that will almost certainly end in tears. Also in the show, Jeremy is on the test track in Ferrari's new 599 GTO and another celebrity guest takes their turn as the star in a Reasonably Priced Car.

For those lucky enough to receive BBC2, tonight the start of the new series on 20:00 GMT

Jeremy Clarkson celebrates the 50th birthday of the Jaguar E-type by driving a modern, half a million pound interpretation of this classic sports car before putting on a typically low key birthday party involving live music, classic fighter planes and a group of Royal Marines.
Meanwhile, Richard Hammond is in South Africa to test a bigger, even more rugged alternative to the famous Hummer, while James May meets up with gold medal winning British Olympian Amy Williams for a wintry test of the latest Mini rally car.
Plus, the power crazed BMW 1-series M is on the test track and another top celebrity guest takes their place in the Reasonably Priced Car.

Just watched it. For the first time ever i think Jeremy actually liked this BMW and couldn't find anything wrong with it, He was having a blast in it. He did point out that it used parts from other BMW cars, but it still worked perfectly. It beat the new Porsche Caymenne R and the new Lotus Evora S in a drag race. The Stig set a time of 1:25.00 in the damp compared to the M3 which did a 1:25.3 dry.

I was pretty suprised when he said that 300 out 400 1M's for the UK were already sold.

I meant 300 of the 400 1M's allocated for the UK market were already sold. I believe the US will be getting 600, but don't quote me on that.

Next Sunday july 3rd, 20:00 on BBC Two (except Northern Ireland (Analogue), Wales (Analogue))

    Motoring show.
Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May are in Italy to take part in a series of tricky challenges and increasingly loud arguments as they attempt to find the world's best hot hatchback. With Clarkson in the Citroen DS3 Racing, Hammond championing the Fiat 500C Abarth and May making the case for the Renaultsport Clio Cup, the trio attempt to navigate their way around baffling Italian towns and take part in a scavenger hunt before heading up to Monte Carlo where they're faced with a surprise test of their cars' performance.

Also in this show, Jeremy is out on the track in the McLaren MP4-12C supercar, while petrolhead comedian Ross Noble is the star in the Reasonably Priced Car.

I've seen a small preview of this. They were in Monte Carlo when F1 was there, and they got to drive the F1 circuit with their testcars. If you at all can, watch this episode!

    Next Sundays episode:

Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May attempt to make train travel cheaper, faster and more interesting by replacing the conventional carriages and locomotive with a series of caravans attached to a specially modified car. Also in this show, Jeremy is out on the track comparing the ripsnorting Jaguar XKR-S to the recently updated Nissan GT-R, while British comedy legend Rowan Atkinson is the star in the Reasonably Priced Car.

Bet he picks the Jaguar over anything they have ever tested and then gets on the hood and makes love to it.

If the 1M had any British history he would have had sex with it on the set, guaranteed.

Yeah, he hates GT-R( very good opinion there), and loves SC'd Jaguars, so the result is shining from now.
