Wow, seems 63 superchargers are popping up left and right.

660 hp? Interesting, but they should be running into the trans issues everyone else is right?

These guys are located in Denmark. I was scratching my head about the grammar used on their news page but now I get it: http://www.xtra-power.com/index.php?...files/news.php

Seems to be easier to mount on that motor. Plus, positive displacement with a 6.2 liter has to be a hell of a lot of fun. Better throttle response than a centrifugal.

That is a major question mark.

The dyno looks legit as far as the formula goes. Lacking many details though.

    The charger itself looks cool.

Many of these new companies coming up with supercharger(s) for the 63 platform seem to be very tight-lipped about drive-train upgrade questions Click here to enlarge

Wasn't the main issue about not being able to unlock torque parameters within the ECU? And is it more of a software issue rather than hardware limit issues(other than clutchpacks)?

    That is what MHP states.

That is what we need answers to, I'm going to go visit the guys in OC who are doing the supercharger and ask them point blank.

It isn't the hardware that is the problem.

If it's making 660Hp then it's making enough torque to shred the trans in a week. Remember to use your AMEX card when ordering Click here to enlarge

"know time" ? That's ridiculously fast!

ROFL, Sticky where do you find these maroons?

Ford is an open source manufacturer, that's why it takes literally ZERO time for the aftermarket to seemingly crack their ECU and TCUs, not because anyone that works there is a European controller wizard.

Maybe Kurt can advise you regarding expanding by jumping markets into the Ford Powerstroke world of cylinder head porting. Huge market there!

why come out with this at this time? the new twin turbo is coming in smaller chassis configs shortly. maybe they just wanted to finish what they started Click here to enlarge and had no idea back then this was coming. anyway on the power chart it looks like a very nice increase, and down low there's no loss in power/torque, then the torque ramps up and seems to come in hard at ~3000 revs.
