    User dynomite05 attempting to swap SLK32 AMG supercharged V6 into CLK320, to make a CLK32K

    This project caught our eye. The C-class and the SLK both got the M112 Supercharged 3.2 liter V6. The CLK did not get this motor as it received a V8. Dynomite05 purchased a used SLK32 motor with 31k on it for around $3k and decided to push ahead with the swap. The motor will be modified with a eurocharged heat exhanger, johnson CM30 IC pump, aftermarket intake, and an aftermarket supercharger pulley. We will keep you updated on the progress, here are the pictures so far:

    Looks like fun. I got my 300zx engine and tranny for around that price. I like how the AMG motors were put together by hand. It shows passion behind the product.

    Wow, I didn't even know this thread was here. Very cool, Sticky! There has been some updates since this was posted. I had originally planned on sticking with my stock 320 driveline, but things have changed:


    I was hoping to keep the budget under $10k, including the price of the motor, but that went out the window once I decided to swap to the C32 driveline. I pretty much hit the budget, and I haven't even installed anything yet. The good part is that I have most of the upgrades purchase minus headers. Looking to get a set of used EC headers or , if I have to, go kleeman. I am trying to do everything correct the first time around and not half ass it. I'm hoping I will get the car in the shop in the next couple weeks. I will update this thread with any new info.

    This is a list of the OEM parts purchased off of the same C32:

    Just got back from the shop. There has been a bit more custom fabrication than initially anticipated, but the car should be running by the end of today. We are waiting on the expansion tank and all of it's hoses that should be arriving today.

    I plan on getting the tweaked intake manifolds from Needswings, but haven't decided if I want them powder-coated silver or black. The SL/E55 airbox that I have is painted silver to match the car, but I'm thinking I might send the pieces out to get CF'd.

    As you can see from the pics, the EC 185mm pulley kit and Needswings PSK are already installed. Once everything is running smooth I will contact Jerry for the EC tune.
