    60-130 times for tune only c63?

    didnt see any one the list...curious if there are any 60-130 times for the C63 w/ only a tune and/or mufflers? but no x pipe or cat delete. Just curious what they do with a tune, since im looking at these and C63 and the CTS-v.

    also anyone have cts-v 60-130? stock and tune?

    DadsC63 got in the mid 8's with a tune + headers. Tune only would likely be somewhere in the 9's.

    LOL, I feel you brother. But tired of modding cars just leads to money burned and problems. I need something somewhat fast! So just interested to see how the C63 does with a tune....and really curious about the CTS-V.

    Found one used cts-v coupe, called on it today and guy already put a deposit on it! Grrr

    Coupe, I dont like the rear of the sedan, and LOVE the rear of the Coupe, I guess ive become fan of center exhausts, a la GT3

    just debating between the 2 cars. Easy to find a used C63, and has been proven reliable.

    Hard to find CTS-V coupes, and they havent been out that long but seem reliable so far.

    When saying reliable I mean with mods, no engine issues coming up...although i would only do a tune and muffler probably.

    This is what DadsC63 did have before he found more power from the MHP tune and MHP long tubes! No one has gained more power or tangible race results(1/4, 60-130) with the AMG 6.2 than we have at MHP.

    As far as the original question I dont believe there has been a tune only vbox posted for the c63. With long tube headers providing so much additional power in the c63 powertrain those that are tracking vbox 60-130 numbers will have them along with a tune. Basically running the c63 without lt's would be like running the ctsv without a pulley.

    If you dont want the noise of the MHP long tubes but still want the power I would highly suggest keeping the stock axleback, and you could also add MHP Exhaust Silencers.

    Are there 2 or 4 cats on the c63...and are they on the headers or mid pipes or both?

    Assuming headers that's why the long tubes add so much power?

    Im not positive on the cats with the california c63. They may or may not be different from the rest of the country. I will find out tomorrow though!

    Did not realize California cars might have different exhaust specs. I know we have CARB but did not think car companies would produce different car specifications specifically for a state.

    Prior to the 05 redesign on the mustang, the mustang gt(ca) had 4 cats while the other mustang gt's only needed 2. The 03 mustang cobra came with a different oem factory tune specifically for factory delivered california cars.

    link to some cts-v 60-130s but no vbox data...but seems legit...they are all over the place with times. but some stock claims are, i believe high 9s with manual tranny, another said low 10s. Couldnt find any VBOX info for tune only or mufflers/tune.

    The hennesy V700 ran 185mph in the standing mile, thats fast. I believe it trapped 128 in the 1/4 (obviously these are highly modded)

    CA AMGs have the same cat count (4) that other states do fwiw. Mufflers are aggressive from the factory, we already have a cross-over pipe (people call it a resonator but it's an H-pipe), crossovers alone have proven worthless by more than one vendor.

    Power is made in the headers, there is some power to be gained with a catback but we're talking single digits unless you go full 3" at which point it becomes a very noisy proposition.

    I also don't know of any VBox 60-130 times from a tune only car.

    They are actually more around the 55-60rw mark with their log manifolds and tuning.
