He's a young kid. He's probably 21-23 now but at the time maybe 19-20. His name is Max Hughes, very knowledgeable. I was close to turbo charging my car, he helped me with a list of items but then the idea of rear mount scared me.

He was taking automotive classes, in high school which I'm sure he was good at.

Very knowledgeable especially for that age, very impressive work.

I don't like rear mounts either but is that the only way you could do it on your car? He mounted his in the engine bay here...

At the time I believed there was no way to mount up front and was worried about heat but after I saw the C350 turbo..I guess there is room. The owner said he'll send me pics but nothing yet (been almost a month). Max's engine is I6 so he has room. Here is a w204..I don't know how they crammed a turbo in there without heat issues....my biggest fear would be the EGT. There was a C230 coupe that was converted into turbo (supercharger removed) and the owner has soo many heat issues. Was trying to find someone to custom fab a hood.

I was trying to go based on this but still am not too comfortable about it. What do you think of a centrifugal?

Well, I feel centrifugals are the way to go if you have no other options. From the experience on my car, it made a really big performance difference but I just didn't like the feel of it too much in everyday situations.

Up top, the thing rips. I mean it pulls hard, very hard. But down low, it mitigates the throttle response and has a feeling of lag to it. That said, I would prefer having it to not having it, definitely. The difference in performance is huge.

From that install file though that isn't a centrifugal, it is a positive displacement blower.
