Watch the 2015 W205 C63 AMG sedan and wagon test on the Nurbugring - C63 AMG wagon confirmed

This was pretty much known but Mercedes-Benz will release the W205 C63 AMG as a wagon in addition to the sedan. You can see Mercedes testing the pair in the video below on the Nurburgring. The M177 twin turbo V8 motor sounds a bit subdued especially compared to the M156 naturally aspirated V8 it is replacing so hopefully AMG does something to open up the exhaust sound for a bit more aggression.

Both C63 AMG models are basically the exact same sharing the 476 horsepower M177 V8 and automatic transmission. Power is not going to be an issue with this car. If the C63 sees some of the criticism from the previous model it will be regarding its heft and balance. From the video though Mercedes AMG sure looks to be putting a lot of work into getting the C63 cornering flat and transitioning well. The test drivers definitely are pushing the cars hard.

It remains to be seen what the car will weigh but the sporty character of the C63 AMG may shine the brightest it ever has with the upcoming W205 generation. It is shaping up very well.

Can't wait to see the AMG version.

The C450 wagon is one best looking wagons I have seen.

Well I hope they stay competitive because the CTS-V will be coming out soon and you know GM will have a CTS-V wagon.

I'd say go for the CTS wagon. Honestly, the Americans deserve the money right now. They are doing some insanely badass stuff.

I'm tempted to pick up a Hellcat.

Hellcat would be pretty sweet. I'm looking at 04-05 Vs right now. I think that'll be my next project sedan.
