The consistency of naturally aspirated power delivery - Weistec W204 C63 AMG M156 ECU tune results with Supersprint headers
The dyno results below come to us from a BenzBoost member located in the Gulf region. Yes, it gets very hot out there. The run conditions are displayed on the second graph and basically this tuning took place in 100 degree heat. This is not so much about the peak numbers as it should be understood that air temperature has a huge impact in a motor's performance but the consistency of the M156 powerplant in the heat.
There are six dyno pulls and the variance in peak horsepower from the lowest to highest output is less than 7 wheel horsepower. That is in 100 degree weather, phenomenal. This shows a tune delivering consistent output. Additionally, an engine dealing very well with the heat. It will of course suffer from heat soak but you will not see this level of consistent power delivery from the new AMG M157 twin turbo V8 among six pulls in 100 degree weather.
This is why Mercedes-Benz chose the M156/M159 V8 as the basis for the SLS Black Series which is built to be their highest performing car around the racetrack. Consistent performance from lap to lap without having to worry about going into limp mode or the ECU pulling timing considerably.

I know this car very well. Its a FAST C63. I was driving it last week against a tuned C63 Black series and I easily beat it.
@Jacob502, post the A/F ratio on all the dyno pulls. They were all stable @ 12. A nicely tuned engine

Nice cars, just wish they put that engine in something as tiny as an E30 M3 and sold it as a Merc in 20142005 Porsche 996 TTS RWD - Eurodyne 60-130 in 6.50s
2015 Audi A3 2.0 TFSI - Eurodyne 0 - 100 in 10.67s
2015 McLaren 650S (RHD) - UK - 1/3rd owner yet to drive

Weistec tuning is excellent. For a header/tune C63. This car is very powerful. I saw it roaming a few days ago on the streets spanking a modified Camaro ZL1. Very loud car.
