I am not sure I am reading this correctly. A cammed Z06 on E85 / Nitrous only makes 555WHP and in the video is walking a car that is making 680WHP? This cant be right?

Yeah it seemed a little sandbagging on the Zo6's part, especially if they don't tell us how big of a shot they're running.

But still it walked all over the 335 so its not really an issue, in my book.

    That's a serious ass whooping for a 6466 car. IDK if he's running a 200 shot. A ST 6466 N54 should not get walked that bad by a N/A Z06.

This is not @aflatau this is @Ak335i Sorry if you wanted to be anonymous but it would only be a matter of time.

That z06 is sandbagging, there is no way he's not blown and/or only putting 555 whp. Even with the weight advantage, it doesn't add up. Maybe 555 whp before the shot of nitrous.

Single turbo BMW N54 335i vs a C5 Corvette Z06 with a cam and nitrous on the highway

Good runs here showing a single turbo N54 335i up against a C5 Z06 on the highway. The 335i belongs to a BimmerBoost member and features a bottom mount Precision 6466 turbocharger with 25 psi on E85. Claimed power output in the video for the 335i is 680 wheel horsepower but it sure does not look like the car is running with that much power in this video. The Z06 features a bolt on, aftermarket cam, E85 ethanol, and enough giggle juice to make 555 wheel horsepower (if sandbagging is not at play).

The Z06 is obviously the lighter car. The difference is roughly 400 pounds depending on how the cars are optioned and the amount of fuel. The race is not close between the two with the Z06 taking it up top fairly easily. This 335i does have an automatic transmission and it looks like some additional tuning may be necessary to alleviate bogging after shifts.

Regardless, what happens in the video is what happens.

The results doesn't make sense in numerous ways if we are to believe the quoted power levels...but good run regardless.

Well it just isn't adding up, a car that makes less than 130hp doesn't drive around a car like this.

Hmm this looks a lot like the same exact video Dan, or @Ak335i posted about 6-8 months ago. I didn't think he was putting down 680whp. It's possible this is the same car, same road, and just an update with both Ak running more boost with e85 and the Z06 with more work done.

It is a similar video but looks like it's from the Z06 perspective this time around.

He'll chime in soon I'm sure there's more to this than the info given. It was a good race last time and he's only added boost so obviously something changed with the Corvette
