Nissan GTR and twin turbo Lamborghini Gallardo healthy horsepower rivalry - UGR 2R Gallardo vs a handful of high HP GTR's

Do the GTR guys hate the Gallardo guys? Is it vice versa? Who knows but there is definitely a healthy rivalry between them and Underground Racing has no problem stirring the pot showing their top setups running some stout GTR's on the highway. One of the GTR's we have seen quite a bit of with the Cranberry GTR going head to head with a black UGR 2R Gallardo and the Gallardo getting the best of it. This video shows a 2R Gallardo going up against a few more high horsepower GTR's on the highway.

The first run is the Cranberry GTR against the Black UGR 2R Gallardo and although the GTR gets the hit the Gallardo just flies past it after a couple gear changes. They run again and it's over after a gear change. The Gallardo just pulls away and that GTR is no joke.

The next runs feature an AMS Alpha 16+ GTR and the yellow UGR TT Gallardo Superleggera. The Gallardo owner is pretty confident with his cameras facing backwards and he should be considering how he trounces the Alpha 16. Fortunately he also has another camera giving another angle for the second run between the two. It isn't even a race.

The Cranberry GTR is back in the mix against another 2R Gallardo the owner going by the name Liquid. It appears to be a white Gallardo and it is yet another absurdly fast UGR creation.

These Gallardo's are just on another level. It looks like UGR has the upper hand at least on the highway right now. They state the horsepower of the 2R setups is 1800+ and considering the result you should believe them.

Nobody, maybe someone with absurd money that wants to build a mega viper (Chase @ 1320 video) , but really there isn't a platform that will outperform them in roll racing.

    Here is Chase's car

    I can't believe that....

    1. They can actually maintain traction.
    2. No one has died in one of these videos yet.

It's only a matter of time on point 2 and then all the media outlets will latch onto the "online underground illegal street racing" vids.

I hope I see Sticky interviewed as an expert on Bill O'Reilly one day.

UGR seems to have the weight and traction advantage.. Those GTR's maybe faster 1/4mile but from a roll UGR cars pull hard with same or less whp

That's for real man. Wasn't it a few years ago that some jackass Canadian politician wanted to govern all cars to like 80mph or some $#@!? People are in everyone's business already. When I was in SF, I had to eat breakfast next to 4 cali-liberals that spoke the whole breakfast about how they were all saving the world by imposing their sense of right on everyone else.

What's the first thing you hear on almost every car fatality on the news? "Oh officials believe speed was a factor". No, being a dip$#@! was a factor.

Not calling these guys dipshits, but seriously - at those speeds, how the $#@! are you going to react if there is a road hazard? Something as simple as an animal or tire tread could lead to vaporization.

They are going to simply make it so the cars are self-driving thereby eliminating the discussion entirely.

That is true. There will be mandatory self-driving zones where you have to let the car drive itself. Hey, the upside is that the 405 might actually move then ; )

I have some faith though...for instance, PA still mandates VASCAR on non-state roads. This means you see the timing lines and can slow down. They also don't allow laser, only radar on state roads. So at least in this state, it is still a fair dogfight ; )

Traffic cameras and laser make me want to puke.
