Is it possible that the pilot used the flight simulator to follow a specific path under radar. To be sure they weren't seen they'd have to run without radar themselves and most likely without systems that would otherwise notify them of mountains/trees/landscape that would cause an impact. When the Navy Seals killed Osama Bin Laden those pilots trained on simulators learning the landscape as they hugged mountains to stay off radar. Couldn't this pilot have used the simulator for the same thing?

I didn't read through any of those articles that were posted including that novel you posted @Sticky as they are all just ideas, and I suppose anything is possible, but anything involving "eye witnesses", "loud noises and lights" well that could be just about anything. I mean even TV shows can be convincing that aliens were actually seen in New Mexico some point in time. Until we see this plane again, whether in pieces or whole, we won't really know what happened or where it is.

the 777 and navy seal aircraft is very different...

im convinced now the pilot or co pilot was a pussy... he wanted to kill himself.. he wanted easy way out no pain ... but didnt want to hit land... flight simulator in house = no life most likely... he is just done... says f it lets do this...

raises elevation kills EVERYONE including himself and sails into the wind to crash in no mans land where we may or may not find the plane...

Im sticking to that until somethings proven... a guy on a suicide mission who didnt wanna kill "that many" so ensured water landing of his out of fuel plane fulll of dead people

Correct, and I didn't mean for my post to insinuate that the plane made it there "undetected." We have so many sensors, defense radars, and satellites watching this part of the world that it couldn't make it there undetected. I believe our government has known for several days that the plane was in that area. There are also reports coming out of the Boeing Corporation that they believe the plane is in the area of Pakistan/Afghanistan as well. I realize I may be coming across as a conspiracy theorist but I'm far from that...this is just one of the prevailing theories about the disappearance of this aircraft that make a bit of sense to me.

Yeah at this point everything is an invalid argument and not logical without concrete evidence.

Yes sir you are correct...but when does this "concrete evidence" you mention ever surface? It's actually unbelievable in today's world of instant communications, satellites, computer data, etc., we have such little info on what has happened to this plane and those aboard.

Cheers...I'll let you go so you can check on those pesky rats in your engine bay.Click here to enlarge

Prime Minister Tony Abbott has announced objects possibly related to the search for a missing Malaysian Airlines plane have been found in the southern Indian Ocean.

Mr Abbott says new satellite images show two possible objects in the ocean and an Australian Orion aircraft is en route to the area.

"New and credible information has come to light in relation to the search ... in the south Indian Ocean," Mr Abbott told Parliament during Question Time.

"The Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) has received information based on satellite imagery of objects possibly related to the search."

Maybe I can fill in a little, my classmate who is coincidentally a captain with Malaysian Airlines knows the pilot personally, yes he loves flying and is known to be a wonderful person. Has wife and kids but is already divorced though living in the same house altogether. I have kids as well and honestly, don't think any sane living parent in the world would give up their kids and family to do a suicide mission altogether... just illogical..

However, our local news has reported that an elderly lady travelling back from Jeddah ( Middle East ) to Kuala Lumpur , reported sight of what to be a plane looking silver object in the sea below looking from her window while flying across the Indian ocean just south of Thailand. She pointed out to friends and the air stewardess on board her flight but was told to stop imagining things. She later complained to her children upon landing that day and was immediately told by them MH 370 had gone missing that morning! Aircraft pilot questioned the impossiblity of someone seeing anything at an altitude of 35,000 ft. Go figure!

They do NOT pull the Australian Prime Minister out for a media conference unless they really know something (they are NOT going to tell us how they know necessarily).

Maybe the Over the Horizon Radar picked up the plane ..... 90% of search resources are now on the coast between Perth and Antarctica... meaning the USA, Australia believe that is the almost certain location of said aircraft

Also, the Captain apparently is NOT heard on the cockpit radio at all after take off - ie the 1st Officer makes all radio contact with control... maybe the bad guy is the 1st mate... It is disgraceful they are throwing JUST the captain to the wolves unless they really know he did it and if so they should say so or stfu about him
