Both him and his father have shown to be absolutely horrendous judges of character, that or they are simply incompetent with regards to vetting their associates. Both have an uncomfortably long trail of outright bigots, racists, conspiracy theorists, etc on their coat-tails.
The media comes up with whatever dirt it can but I judge them on what they say/do and not because 20 years ago some idiot was associated with some aspect of their campaign or platform.

I have no idea what the two of you are talking about. Actually I do as the crisis lowered the Russian indexes due to economic pressure and concerns as well as the value of the currency in relation to the dollar I just don't understand how to capitalize on this.

Broadly speaking, I’m hedging that the issue/crisis/whatever you want to call it in Ukraine will be resolved by diplomatic means. A big show of soft power and chest thumping from all involved parties, but it will likely end with a whimper in terms of how global markets see it. I don’t expect anything serious in terms of sanctions, and I don’t expect any violence. So I’m betting that the perceived fear over Russian finances and the ensuing gains in the S&P are largely speculative, and will be corrected in the long term.

Beyond that, I’m just trusting my buddy who works in finance. My knowledge of markets is limited to theory; I have no background in the industry. So for all I know I end up taking a bath on this.
