    A+ sir

Grew up in Aussie wine country and love the old school Barossa Valley Shiraz (Syrahs) but they are way way expensive now at $150+ a pop for Henschke and Rockford etc

Lived in Tokyo in eary 1990s when they were in their crazy economic bubble... remember having trader parties where the aperitif was a Margaux '82.... then people would drink Château d'Yquem with straws... sick waste of money but I was 24 and didn't understand what I was wasting

I love USA Cabernets...... Silver Oak, Newton Unfiltered... ad infinitum.

Tonight we have a nice little 2009 BV Beau Rouge... bloody good drop at $23 a pop and our go to cheap Champers in Piper Heidsieck... all good stuff

BTW - I am not a drunk.. I am an Aussie

Cali is king for Cab. Can't beat Napa Cab, you just can't.

As far as Aussie wines though I love me some Mollydooker. I flat out love it, all of their wine. Syrahs, cabs, merlots, everything they do.

    I have a '66 d'Yquem btw. I won't drink it with a straw.

    Washington doesn't get enough credit.

Leonetti. Quilceda Creek. Those two, in that order.

I think it's because they make the best wine. It's like getting hit in the face with a crowbar. Their stuff is so over the top, it's amazing.

Yes mate... kind of the way Western Australian wines were in the late 80's and early '90s until the mass production teams ruined everything... tonight we have found 2 little West Aussie beauties though....

The Howard Park Leston Shiraz is remarkable... much better than I thought it would be

Leonetti is pretty difficult to find. But it's mind altering.

The chook was MY PB ever... just a 95/100 effort

Only my Nanna could do a 100/100

the extra heat is perfect for a large organic chook........... it just cooks the guts n breast to perfection.... add lots of salt n pepper and a lemon and garlic in the guts = perfection
