    Dyno-Comp shows 80 wheel horsepower gains on a P31 W204 C63 AMG

These are some very, very healthy gains from Dyno-Comp on the already aggressively factory tuned P31 C63 AMG. The dyno results show a baseline of 390 wheel horsepower on a Dyno-Dynamics and then a gain of 80 wheel horsepower with bolt ons for a total of 470 wheel horsepower. High gains and numbers so BenzBoost wonders what correction factor this Dyno-Dynamics is set to read to as the result is similar to Dynojet figures.

The modifications are stated as follows:

    Dyno-Comp Long Tube Headers
    Dyno-Comp Mid-Pipes w/ X-Pipe
BMC High Flow Panel Air Filters
    Dyno-Comp ECU Upgrade

Those parts are definitely good for something in the high 400 wheel range. It would be nice to see dyno runs from the headers only, then mid-pipes, and then tune to see how all the parts come together instead of just one result. To get an idea of tune only P31 C63 AMG M156 gains take a look at OE Tuning's result on a P31 car on a Dyno Dynamics: http://www.benzboost.com/content.php...-tuned-C63-AMG

Additionally, take a look at what shootout mode numbers on the Dyno Dynamics look like on a C63 AMG from Eurocharged here: http://www.benzboost.com/showthread....117#post181117

Now, this car is definitely making more power than stock but the correction factor is exaggerating those gains somewhat. Hopefully in the future Dyno-Comp will show multiple runs for the modifications so that the data is more useful. It would be nice to see the gains of the headers alone for example.

The numbers are very believable most people don't realize how potent a bolt on M156 is N/A. Your talking about 500 whp with bolt ons is very possible and its not just a peak number at 5000rpm that falls off hard up top this motor makes great linear power to redline of 7200 rpm or 7500rpm with tune which is pretty high for a big displacement V8. I made from 465-470 whp with my car BEFORE my headers when i was running Eurocharged tune, secondary cat delete, evosport UD Pulley, ROW air boxes, with race gas on a cold Negative DA day on a dynojet. I posted my results here a while back and now i have headers full exhaust and other goodies. I will be setting up a dyno tune with eurocharged very soon and will post my results

The baseline dyno also shows its not a high reading dyno at all. Facelift P31 C63's with MCT have regularly put down over 400 WHP on dynojets

The peak power is definitely believable as it is well within range. The reason I want to see more runs for each set of mods is because they say this a P31 car to begin with. I want to see what their tune did for example. 80 whp on top of a P31 car? That's a bit much isn't it?

    Nice numbers.
This is what 1/4 MPH is the best dyno available.

I deff understand what you mean and the more info you get the better but based on what I've seen and done personally it's def believable. 80whp does seem high for gains on top of a P31 car I've usually seen ~50 whp from a headers and tune. He could have also done the charcoal filter delete, k&n air filter with air box mod that alone can give 10-15 whp throw in some race gas on a day with better conditions & compare the worst before graph with the best after graph and BAM. I def would like to know more info as those are HUGE gains for a simple bolt on

Exactly, more runs providing more data would be far more useful. I feel like the graph is done to get attention for sales with big gains shown more than anything else.
