First attempt at a paint correction

I finally had some time to get to detailing my car and use the new Griot's 6" DA Polisher I bought. Let me say that this was the most time and effort I put into cleaning a car but the results are great! I still see some imperfections but I didn't use the most aggressive pad and polish since this is the first time I am doing a paint correction, next time I will step it up a notch.
I couldn't really get any good 50/50 shots since the lighting situation in my garage but let me tell you there was a difference.

    Wheels cleaned and clayed
    Tires cleaned and dressed
    Exhaust tips polished

I know Sparky.. fail on my part. I really wanted to do a 50/50 shot for comparison. The lighting in my garage is terrible, should have took some shots outside.

Get yourself a decent Sun light, well worth the money as you can really pick up the defects before you even start.

You will probably find something similar a lot cheaper in the States.

BMW paint is probably the best and at the same time the worst paint to work on, so bloody hard but difficult to do much damage on. Ford [like my ST ] is quite soft and its quick to correct it. What rotary are you using? Didnt notice it in the 1st post, unless I missed it.
