I actually got to go check one out yesterday, my gf is looking at leasing a new ford flex with the same 2.0 ecoboost as the st. Pretty much same as what you got, tuxedo black with the leather recaros. Really sweet little car!

    Congratulations.

My buddy's is 328WHP with just bolt ons and e40. He's going to grab the ATP GTX3071r when it comes out and is shooting for 400WHP. He already has traction issues LOL

i call bull$#@! if he's on the stock turbo without nitrous. These ST's run the same turbos the GTI uses, they're not going to move enough air to break 300whp without killing the turbo and/or nitrous.

most dynos i've seen of the ST are maxing in the 280whp on custom e85 tunes and a $#@! load of mods.

I was at the dyno with him. n54s were putting down 411HP so i know it wasn't a high reading dyno. i'll see if i can get him to send me the sheet.

was it a a 1 run freak? i know they make a $#@! load of torque, but breaking 300whp on that Turbo is just really hard to believe.

even cars protuned on e85 are in the 280whp range.
I mean going through like 15 pages on this thread i only seen 1 stock turbo car break 300whp and that was using virtual dyno.

OK, so talked to my buddy. I guess my memory is failing me in my old age. I swear he was on e40 and did over 300whp but I was wrong on both accounts. Dyno day was on pump gas and not e40 and it did 248WHP. Attached are two VD on e40. His dyno do for the e40 runs was cancelled. The one that's 311whp looks like screwed results due to wheel spin. So it looks like you're def in the ball park as i'd say the 286 is prob close to accurate. He said the 286 was with a small boost leak, so he fixed that and went and pulled the 311whp one after. He did say that his stock turbo is not maxed out on those two VDs.

i personally don't buy into virtual dyno graphs.

however 248whp on pump with basic bolt-ons is pretty good out of that little turbo.

at least the ST's don't have weak internals and he can slap on a gtx3071. In the GTI rods are basically a given if shooting for over 400whp, a ~$2k rod install job alone makes it very unworth it in a FWD car.

+pos rep for a disagreement solved with facts and no name calling on a forum though.

the ots cobb map is pretty weak compared to the shop that my coworker bought his cobb from with custom tunes included... Id look into that... The other map must have 40-50tq over cobbs down low

Yeah my buddy has been getting protuned via email so those dynos/maps I'm referring to are on custom etunes.
