    M156 superchargers for sale

    All (Joe - if you could allow here as it is m156 specific),


    Going through a review of my inventory of old parts - I have a couple of Weistec complete SC units for sale (For all M156 allocations).


    unit price miles
    2.3 Litre 11,500 500
    3.0 Litre 13,800 100


    The units are at Weistec now and include every nut/bolt/washer/tie strap needed for the install. The units also include tuning of the ECU and Weistec's warranty from the date of sale. Note that all parts are brand new except the compressor.


    This is the chance to save 1,000's over the regular price for units which each backed by Weistec's warranty and support. I am in the process of starting a new project and these units are simply not needed.

    @RNS-11Z , c'mon H. You will be the first in Oz with a 3.0. Not sure if you going to need to do the bulletproof tranny, that would be the only thing stopping me going 3.0.

    Weistec have the 722.9 Bullet Proof Transmission but the original tranny need to be sent to Weistec for them to harden it. A lot of expense and downtime for a daily driver, and not worth it over the 2.3L in my opinion.

    We are a long way away from Weistec here in Oz.

    Are there any other tranny options for us here in Oz making it easier?

    I understand it requires downtime but it just depends how fast you really want to go and how reliable you want it to be.

    Not that I know of. It's a minor miracle that @Weistec even did what they did.
    Weistec has the option of the a Stage 3 for people who are willing to have some downtime for the extra 100hp. I can't justify the cost or downtime for the difference, some people can. I know I will be going Stage 2 when I get a blower.

    Maybe @Weistec can consider buying a tranny and organising a bullet proof tranny core exchange, not sure how viable it is for them, but might give them a larger customer base going for Stage 3 in Asia, Australia and possibly the Middle East.

    Not that I know of. Everyone I have seen do a 3.0 has sent the tranny and TCU to Weistec for the work. I have alot of reading on the system and never seen a mention of a core exchange program, though they do have a core exchange on the ported heads from what I remember.

    Maybe the tranny and TCU are paired with the car and aren't interchangeable without some coding.

    No he did not sell his car, he first purchased the 2.3, then upgraded to the 3.0 then upgraded to a new larger system the he and I have been testing on our cars for Weistec. He has another project started as well but not my place to say what it is.
