    RUSH Movie

In a word brilliant, captured the drama of 1976 F1 perfectly

The Aussie kid was much better than I thought he would be... and I barely remember that series because I was only 10 but I do remember the Lauda burning....

Went to see it tonight because I thought the first week would be too crowded.
to my surprise it was already in one of the smaller theatres in the complex.
Totally surprised we were only with 10 people in the room.

    the movie itself was awesome.
Knowing Lauda approved the whole film made it even better.
Seeing the original footage at the end was a nice touch and a fitting tribute to James Hunt.

The movie itself was good, but I thought the Senna documentary was better (considering it was a documentary).

IMO the Senna documentary was just that.
You can't compare it to this movie really.
That said, I was never a great fan of Senna.
Sure, he could drive like no other, but all he ever wanted was winning no matter how.
He would drive anyone off the track if they really stood between him and the title (Prost, Japan 1990 as an example).
This was in the time when people still died in F1 due to crashes.
Schumacher later tried the same which brought him the world title as well.
So I was a Hill fan in those days. Never liked Prost though...

Really good movie, but I would have liked to see more racing in it. MANY of the races they didn't even show footage, just results. Overall, a really good movie, B+, IMHO
