Introducing the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe concept AKA the CL-Class replacement

So the CL-Class designation is officially dead for whatever reason and here is your new S-Class coupe. Yes, this is a concept but the real deal should not differ too much. The design follows the design sketches leaked last week very closely and this is a great looking coupe. The front lights have a hint of SL in them and the rear lights a hint of SLS. The grille likely won't make the transition to production as Mercedes has used this style of grille on all their newest concepts but it has not made production.

The area that is most likely to get toned down is the interior. Although gorgeous in the photos below the S-Class coupe interior will look very similar to the W222 S-Class sedan. Expect the real deal production car to be revealed by the end of the year in S550, S63 AMG, and S63 AMG flavors.

I love it! The style of the air intaktes is so aggressive. The grille could and should make it into production. On the CLA and A-Class it's already an option or standard with bigger engines.

I can't upload a picture because I'm on the phone

They shouldn't change a thing and just put that car into production as-is....that looks sooo good WAY better than the new BMW F-body IMO.

I like it! Although the back end looks like a VW CC. Would love to see it in a different color.

Because it would destroy their hierarchy.
