    280z vs Evo

    Before going to BMW I was a nissan guy and have always had an itch to do just this to a 280z... id love to know how scary or not scary that 280z is on the road with those MTs ... thats one bad ass Z

    That is pretty cool. Would have been cooler with an RB26 though I think they are harder to find in the States. At least it's not an LS motor or some other nonsense. Before the BMW, I owned a '97 Maxima which was totaled by some idiot not paying attention. I considered a G35S before the 335, but there were none available in my area after the Maxima was totaled and I needed a car. Not that I regret my decision, the 335 is a great car.

    I work with a guy that has a restored 280z, I'll have to send this to him.

    Love that 280z. it did that laying down 200+ ft tire tracks at highway speeds.

    My friend's orange 280z is similar but is RB25 powered. It's definitely the fastest street version I know of, I believe he hit mid-low 9s on drag radials. He's running a TH350 with Ford 9" rear.

    I am not sure...try sending him a message on youtube. It might not even be for sale anymore or sold by now (that was summer of this year)
