F1 2013 - Yet another Mercedes AMG pole position, Nurburgring Grand Prix Qualifying results
This is becoming quite a pattern. Another Formula 1 Grand Prix, another pole position for Mercedes-Benz AMG. Mercedes is enjoying incredible success in qualifying and has been turning that qualifying success into race success as of late. At the previous race (Silverstone GP) Mercedes captured the pole position and front of the grid and was able to transfer their quick pace into a victory picking up a good amount of points and closing the gap with Red Bull Racing.
Will Mercedes be able to repeat this success at the Nurburgring? Well, Hamilton is sitting on the pole but Rosberg is not there to help. Red Bull Racing is breathing down Hamilton's neck with Vettel sitting in second and Webber qualifying third. Rosberg had a horrible day ending up qualifying in 11th place. Things sure are going to be interesting.
For those keeping track, this is the sixth Mercedes pole in seven races.
The race is tomorrow, qualifying results below.
