I never thought I would own a Benz.
But, seeing what AMS and Renntech have already done with the new M157 E63, I am VERY interested in what AMG is cooking up.

If the rumors that the 2015 C63 will be getting a M157, 4matic, and DCT are true, I want the car that I believe will prove to be the best daily driver available.

After hearing what all of my friends have told me about the lack of reliability and high costs they have experienced with German cars, especially a AMG, I am terrified to own one.
But, if these rumors are true, I think the risk may be worth the reward.

The new C63 won't get the M157 it will get a 4.0 liter turbo motor instead.

With a warranty you're fine, no reason to be scared. The new turbo Benzes are awesome.

If this car is as awesome as I am hearing, and if I invest in a AMS or Renntech package, I will be owning it way past the warranty expiration date.

Can you share the sources that you have that make you so confident that the next C63 will be a 4.0 instead of a 5.5 litre ???

The additional 1.5 liter of the M157 over the 4.0 liter of the Audi S6 is why I am waiting for the next AMG models.
The lighter weight of the C63 is also a huge incentive for me to wait.

The promise of an all wheel drive performance is the only reason I haven't bought the CTS-V as well as the only reason I am even considering a German car.

I saw that Autocar published that.
I was hoping someone here had a direct Benz source.

Regardless, let's all hope Autocar is wrong and the C63 gets the full 5.5L version of the M157. Click here to enlarge
If Benz feels that they MUST have the C63 have a lower advertised power rating, let's also hope they just under report it's power.
Or, if absolutely necessary, simply spin the turbos slower for less boost from the factory, but still give us the identical M157 from the E63.
Here's hoping. Click here to enlarge
