Everytime I get asked for rolls, I tell them to go to a bakery.

Edit: this was when I had the Evo lol, now I don't have any preference.

well it depends on what you want to compare. dig compares the ability of both the car and the drive to put down the power. rolls compare top end pulling power. I personally prefer digs, because all the cars I have owned can launch OK but aren't really that fast up top.

Roll -- Especially since we're talking 400 WHP+, RWD cars for the most part, and for the most part we're interested in who's faster (vs. quicker). From a dig most of us (non-AWD GTR/EVOs/Audi's/Turbo P-Cars that haven't gone RWD), you're just gonna shred tires, especially on a non-prepped surface (like Mexican roads). At a decent roll speed, like 45 MPH+, you should hook with good rubber, so from there it comes down to who's got more true power.

lmao good rubber ? I don't hook on street with slicks with 640+ in my c6 at 2900lbs. No problem in the gtr or n63's but roll certainly doesn't show who has more "true" power. Whatever happened to weight, gearing, resistance, etc.

You're introducing way too many variables. If we're gonna evaluate every performance related element (power, gearing, area under the curve, weight, aerodynamics, traction off the line, etc etc), then the answer is going to be "well it depends on the car" Click here to enlarge
