Sl63 AMG getting 563 hp and 664 pound-feet of torque
From MotorTrend, car will be a beast:
In standard form, the engine produces 536 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. Adding the AMG Performance Package -- and when you're spending six figures on a car, why not? -- increases those figures to 563 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque.Chrome Space Bar Issue: http://www.boostaddict.com/showthrea...338#post738338

Seems like another case of undersized turbos.......
I would hope that the AMG edition would at-least go a step larger, looks to me like they just upped the boost, considering the torque gain vs horsepower gain.
I hope the 1M doesn't follow this trend.....
Wouldn't it be nice if BMW gave us a N54 with more aggressive top-end cams and a twin-scroll GT35R or equivalent/better......
Would it really be that much more expensive to mass produce?

My $ is on tiny turbos almost maxxed in the Performance package. Similar to what MB/AMG did with the P31 C63s. Trying to make $ and eliminate aftermarket tuning at the same time.
Can't wait to see what kind of ECUs they use.

What a nicely packaged engine. Some people live long, meaningful lives.
Other people eat shit and die.
I'm not racist, I hate everybody equally; especially fat people.
