    Nice. I hadn't seen that.

Rovers are an odd bunch. The 3rd generation (my wife drives one) is a boat, even in supercharged form (great for long road trips, going off road, etc, but isn't much fun when looking for some spirited driving). I can't see there being much of a performance following that would drive the need for a RoverBoost website (like there is for Cayennes). But the latest generation (in both FFRR and RRS) is supposed to be pretty amazing. So maybe it will grow in performance enthusiast following. Probably worth reserving the domain name JIC.

The new Rovers are more powerful and lighter though so it could evolve into a Cayenne like performance following. Definitely worth having.

My dad had an '11 RR Supercharged and it wasn't that fast at all compared to my sisters c350, or my dad's 650i, or even my 135i, maybe the new generations are quicker? Sure came a long way if that is the case.

Your dad's might have had the 4.2 motor. The new 5.0 motors are WAY faster.

Yeah, I don't really keep up with Land Rover/Range Rover since they've been taken over by TaTa, but this is irrelevant but is there anyway I could contact you directly.

Updated designs, new motors that can actually compete, new models, just a better company all around.

I totally agree that they are better with Tata. Tons more capital to spend versus Ford with excellent investment across the board. Ford was great for Rover (significantly increased quality vs BMW), but they were always behind in investments for future models under Ford.

I just watched a bunch of SUV's race, lol! Seriously though, it's interesting to see how they rate compared to modern cars.
