I ordered Michelin pilot super sports from tire rack, they are only $1060 right now for the set after a mail in rebate! It's more than I wanted to spend but it's a quality tire and the mail in rebate is tough to beat....

Update: it's been 3 weeks and I absolutely love my Michelin PSS tires! The grip, lack of sidewall flex, and feel of the tires is perfect, these are the best tires I've ever owned. Wellllllll worth the money IMO. Even the look of them is perfect, they are meaty looking and fill in the wheel well perfect. My hankook v12's were awful in comparison.

Thanks for the feedback. Seems the PSS is the street tire of choice right now.

What's the largest profile that can be fit on a set of Morr's (19"x10 rear and 19"x9 front)? I'm wondering if 265/35 rear and 235/40 front will fit. I have a F30 335 sportline on the stock suspension.

Morr has recommended 265/30 rears which is also what they've run on some lowered cars without rubbing. Obviously, my car isn't lowered (other than the normal lowering done stock) so I'm wondering if I can fit the taller tires. Not a fan of the 'shorter than stock' recommendation.

Not sure why you wouldn't go with the 265/30 with the 19's.

They aren't that much more expensive.... And they are awesome. I don't track my car but I'm very satisfied with my purchase

@tdizzle00 I ran 265/30/19 with my Morr's and had no issues

AS I have said before they are a GOOD tire, no doubt about that, but they are expensive.

There are just other tires out there that are cheaper, and perform better under severe conditions, like Road racing, Autocross, or even a true enthuisist.

Go to ANY track and see what the weekend racers are using. I think you would be surprised guys.

Again, they are a GOOD tire, I just hate how many people always call them the best as they are not.

No sweat my friend, as they do work well.

I just work to hard for my money, or maybe I am just cheap, LOL

My tire advice is to avoid pot holes and curbs , what tire to get has been beaten into the ground...

    conti dws - all season
    r888 - all out street r comp
conti dw, pss - street tire that works well for everything

star specs, re11, the crazy tread falcons are all good too

i personally think the ventus evo v12 are pittiful but i only had them on my 370z in a large staggered set 275/305 with a less than perfect but def not a terrible alignment.. id stay away from those since they did the bait and switch on the price, they are no longer a value tire.

Mostly because I'd rather a thicker sidewall and to fill the wheel well a bit more. The 265/30/19 will be shorter than my stock wheels.

I saw pics of a car running 265/35 rears and liked the look, I'm just wondering if the Morrs will allow me to go this route.

If 265/30 fits then 265/35 should as well I would think.

I would assume so as well, should be about a ~13mm difference.

Odd on =discounttiredirect.com they go for 160 a tire for 255/40/18's. Not a bad deal it seems. About 700 bucks shipped. PSS's are 1,030 bucks shipped. I haven't made a choice yet on them. Everyone knows the PSS's are the best all around tire period.

I strongly disagree with that. @themyst can vogue for dws'. I would take dws over pss at the same price. That's really cheap on the dws I thought they were around 200ea. I'm going to go order them now

Pss can not handle our cars tq at all and they are awfully hard and slippery under 50 degrees.

I think people just say they are the best bc they think they're the best. Have you ever used them before. I have a full set on my car and I really don't like them at all. Wet traction is there best asset. I had dws on my 135fbo and they hooked In second. @jonsc63 uses them to and holds a record I think on those tires.
