    Redline or Royal Purple

I'm thinking about changing to another brand of 5w30 oil. I'm currently using Castrol Titinium. Will Redline or Royal Purple give you a better protection? If so, which one will you pick? Click here to enlarge

i personally run Redline, and will continue to tun it, use it for engine/gearbox/diff, though i found the D4ATF has broken down a bit already for the gearbox, it was beautiful for 5000mi~ or so, it's similar to what it was before the swap now... though the worn shifter bushings probably have a lot to do with that.

Royal Purple doesn't seem to be very popular with non-tracked Euro cars. If this is a DD/predominately regular road car, stick to the industry standards -- Castrol, Mobil One, or Motul

Why don't you do an UOA on your current oil (the Castrol) then try RP and Redline, doing an UOA with each to establish what works best for you?
