    the car is done and we installed a pulley from weistec to raise the boost... waiting to get a tune revision....
    ps
    we did race a s3 weistec c63 before we installed the pulley on the e55 and the c63 won by 2.5 cars length till 130 mph if we continued the difference would get bigger the 63 is much stronger up top
    ill try my best to have a video of the next race when the e55 gets a tune revision for the pulley

    The guy here stated him self it was not much different to when his E55 had boltons.

    Don't get me wrong i want to see it all working and been a solid upgrade, But so far this is not the case it seems from the users....

    It's pretty new so it will evolve.

    Regardless, it's a 3.0 liter twin screw with a better cooling system. It's a superior design. Do a few pulls with a bolt on E55 and then a few pulls with this and see which one retains power for example.

    I think most users aren't understanding the design differences or the greater headroom which to be realized needs a strengthened block, race gas, and the boost turned up. Then you will see the large disparity as the small factory blower can not match it.

    AIT spiking with the 3.0 liter twin screw and you want to up the boost?
    Also when AIT's spike what is the fail safe, since the magnatic clutch is no longer there?

    So far only one guy says he is happy and he is running meth to keep them in check. So again not seeing any data of this setup doing better overall then a bolt on 55k

    p.s only reason bolt on 55k's have serious issues with AIT's is because:
    1: They do not run cooling mods
    2:They strap on the biggest pulley they can get

    It is more efficient.

    The numbers to just slapping on the Weistec 3.0 to a stock engine is the same as a pulley, heat exchanger and tune with a stock blower. The weistec 3.0 will build that boost better and cool off faster between pulls thus being more efficient overall.

    The problem is most 113k owners that wanted the Weistec 3.0 were coming from heavily modified (most of them stage 3+)cars making almost 600rwhp. Now after adding the Weistec blower to a FBO E55k they had to remove most of their mods and buy extra supporting mods that they never expected to buy in the first place. So there is a back and forth debate on mbworld.

    I'm looking forward to my buddies shop to have the fastest E55k record with the Weistec blower and a built block. Since the guy who tunes his cars currently holds the world record for the E55k at 10.46.

    It's pay to play. You can't expect mods for a different system to apply. The OEM blower has been pushed to the max at the expense of efficiency. You do get power out of it but it won't be this efficient and won't have the headroom this system has. Plus, because it's an older platform with many guys already modded Weistec has to package it in a way that the cost won't make them all complain.

    The question for me would be whether to mod the OEM system or go with this. I would go with the more efficient system with more headroom. For guys who already modded I can understand their question of value but this is a hobby not an investment.

    Go ask the owners, that's what they are stating from their experiences and data logs. Meth, bigger or additional HE and ice tank are needed it seems...So how is adding more boost going to help keep AIT's in check?

    my stage 2 without a throttle body made 562whp.

    I know of an SL55 that put down 610whp and another E55 that hit high 590's.

    All of those were on Dyno Dynamics...

    imo if u want to only add a weistec 3.0 sc for ur e55 its a big mistake .... a tune with a pulley will be very close in terms of hp ...
    but if u want to go places that's impossible for a fbo m113k can go the 3liter weistec sc is a must

    Adding more boost won't keep them lower obviously but my point is it should be more efficient so I don't understand.

    I thought E55 guys were tired of being stuck? So what's the complaint? That motor hasn't done anything noteworthy in years.

    trust me guys when I tell u we tried everything on the 113k ... pulleys , intercoolers in conjunction with meth the list goes on and on at the end u cant go past the high 500 whp range in the e55 with the stock super charger and I think the problem is the iat , a good tuner should know the limit of the stock supercharger ,if u go wild with the boost the ecu starts to retard the timing after second gear so what ever u make in the first 2 gears u will loose after that ....more isn't always better.... if u want to go extreme weistec is the best solution off course with an upgraded engine because however u squeeze the 3liter sc for more boost it will not throw hot air so no retard for the iat ...its biger than the stock sc with better cooling efficiency and could give u more boost without maxing it out

    Mate, not sure where you are getting your numbers from stage 5 (pulley, TB, headers and tune) 55k is around 500whp+
    stock is 410-430 do the math...worst part you are claiming dyno dynamicsClick here to enlarge
